" Good-bye, You Splendid Failure."

PRIEST AT BRTJCE'S MEETINGS (Received 11.30 a.m.) HOB ART, this day. The meeting of the Prime Minister, Mr. S. M. Bruce, at the City Hall ended in dramatic fashion. When questions were invited a man in clerical garb stood up in the front of the hall and demanded to be allowed to address the meeting fr&m the platform. "I am Father Graham," he shouted to. the crowd, when his request was refused. He called for cheers for Mr. Scullin, Labour Leader, and then shouted to Mr. Bruce, "Goodbye, you splendid failure," and. strode theatrically from the hall. The meeting concluded with hooting and counter cheers.
