In the semi-finals of the national professional tennis singles at Forest Hills Vincent Richards defeated Paul Heston (Washington), o—l, G—3, 6—4; Karel Kozelnh defeated Howard Ivinscy, C—4, 6—4, 7—5. Kozeluh won the final by defeating Richards, G—4, G—4, 4 —G, 4—G, 7—i).
