MUSSOLINI ABUSED.
Scathing Indictment By Dutch Atheist. BROADCAST SHUT OFF. (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (Received 11 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, September 29. The first broadcast talk ever permitted the Dutch Atheists' Association, came to an abrupt end. Mynheer Janhoving, leader of the Atheists, immediately began to attack Signor Mussolini and described him as an erstwhile atheist, an anti-militarist, and then an ogre of priests. At this point the Dutch telegraph authorities applied the silencer, because the speech was offensive to a friendly nation.
