SEVERELY SHAKEN.
Havoc By Earthquake In Hawaii. TERROR-STRICKEN RESIDENTS. (Australian and K.Z. Press Association.) NEW YORK, September 20. Dispatches from Hilo, on the cast coast of Hawaii, state that an earthquake rocked the entire town yesterday morning. One of the main etreets was ripped apart in two places. A Roman Catholic church was moved on its foundations and marred by a dozen cracks. This was the first shock felt at Hilo of a series which have kept the people in the Kona district on the western side of the island terror-stricken since Monday night. The shocks were caused by movements of lava within the craters of the volcanoes Mauna Loa, Kilauea and Hualalai.
