LONDON'S LORD MAYOR.

SIR W. WATERLOW ELECTED. (United Service.) LONDON, September 29. Sir William Waterlow lias been elected Lord Mayor of London to succeed Sir Kynaston Studd. Sir William Waterlow was born on April 23, 1871, and was until last year a managing director of Waterlow and Sons, Ltd., printers and manufacturers. He joined the corporation as a common councilman of Cornhill Ward in 1914, was promoted alderman in 1922 on the death of Sir Edward Cooper, and is at present serving as sheriff. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1896.
