OLD-TIME CRICKETER.
LATE MR. E. D. McCOY. A i' :mev Auckland resident, Mr. E. P. McCoy, died at Dunedin last week from pneumonia. In pre-war times he was well known in athletic circles here, having been a prominent cricketer for many years, first playing in the old Auckland Club, then 'later in the Ponsonby senior eleven, in which he excelled as a bowler. lie was also a prominent amateur billiardist. The late Mr. McCoy served in tlio New Zealand Expeditionary Forces, and after being invalided home resided i:i Dunedin for eight years, representing Messrs. Harris, Ltd., woollen, manufacturers, in the South Island. Hβ leaves a wife and young family, and brothers and. r>is>ters in Auckland.
