WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.
WATTS—NELSON. A pretty wedding was solemnised at the Methodist Church, Otaki, when Ethel Constance Nelson, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Nelson, of Tuhua, Taumarunui, was married to William Francis Watts, third son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Watts, of Lower Hutt. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dress of ivory georgette, with overdress of silver silk lace and a beautiful embroidered veil with coronet of orange blossoms, also silver shoes and stockings to match. The bridesmaids were her sister, Hilda, and cousin, Miss Clara Yates, of Otaki, The best man was Mr. Leslie Watts, brother of the bridegroom. Mr. S. Watts, another brother, acted as groomsman. OLD—BISHARA. A very pretty wedding was solemnised at Christ Church, Taumarunui, recently. The bride was Miss Freda Emily Bishara, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. Bishara, of Taumarunui, and the bridegroom was Mr. Ambrose Old, the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Old,' of Tokirinia. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. W. Burley, and the bride was given away by her father. The bridal gown was of ivory chenille georgette worn with a becomingly arranged veil and orange blossoms. A sheaf of white lilies completed a dainty toilette. Four bridesmaids attended the bride, Miss Olive Bishara (sister of the bride), Miss Dolly Mclndoe (of Epsom), Miss Paula Ginders and Miss Patty Ginders, of Taumarunui. Mn Arthur Corydon, of Taringamotu, acted as best man.
