FORESTERS' DANCE.
The social committee of Court Birkenhead, A.0.F., held their fortnightly oldtime dance in the Victoria Hall, Birkenhead, on Saturday night. Mr. Blackledge was M.C. The epot waltz was won by Mrs. Freegard and Mr. Huddlestone. Among those present were: Mrs. Beckman, in blue striped ponge crepe de chine; Mrs. Wrightson, cream crepe de chine, relieved with blue; Miss Speers, black chiffon velvet, with rose shawl to tone; Miss Faulder, black georgette, with lime green trimmings; Mrs. Hughes, navy taffeta; Mrs. Foster, frock of fawn; Mrs. Thorburn, black satin, with a red posy; Mrs. Barnett, fawn and floral rayon silk; Mrs. Grant, bois de rose crepe de chine, with diamante buckle; Mrs. Webber, white taffeta and lace; Mrs. Freegard, blue crepe de chine, with diamante buckle; Miss Revell, marigold georgette, relieved with posy; Mrs. Eipley, green crepe de chine; Miss Ruby Hayson, green lace frock, with uneven hem and tulle bow to tone; Miss R. Woolliams, black velvet; Miss M. Lethart, mauve rayon, trimmed with lace; Mrs. Blackwell, jade green crepe de chine, with primrose posy; Mrs. A. Pugh, nattier blue crepe de chine; Mrs. Horkin, green chiffon velvet, edged with marabout fur; Mrs. Gilfoyle, fawn chiffon, trimmed with lace; Miss V. Nickalls, pale green rayon silk; Miss M. Mentzer, sea green satin and georgette, with shawl to tone; Miss Donahue, pink satin, relieved with sequins.
