WAIHI FEDERAL BAND.

At the annual meeting of the Waihi Federal Band on Saturday evening the report stated that the financial position was satisfactory and the band was progressing favourably under the new conductor, Mr. E. Beilby. The following officials were appointed: Patron, Mr. D. G. Saunders; vice-patrons, Messrs. A. M. Samuel, M.P., W. H. Toy and J. Moorehead; president, Dr. Short; secretary and treasurer, Mr. W. Paul; auditors, Messrs. R. Henry and J. G. Corncs; citizens' committee, Messrs. J. Pascoe, L. .Henderson, J. Beesoii, C. Brown, R. Walsh; trustee, Mr. R. Henry.
