(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HASTINGS, this day. Mr. H. T. Fannin, of Hastings, considers there is a probability.of his.being "in the running" for "a share in the Cox fortune of 20 millions, accumulated in Chancery. His maternal grandmother was a Mrs. Elizabeth Cox, who married John Cox in England in 1885. His mother, now about 75 years of age, remembers that a strong conviction uxisted among her people when she was a girl, that the Cox family had a lot of money somewhere 'behind them. . Mr. Fannin intends making an inquiry regarding his claim.
