DE VALERA'S THREAT.
Would Repudiate Payments To Fngland. £2,000,000 INVOLVED. (■Australian Press Assn.—United Service.) (Received 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, September 29. In a speech at Enfield de Valera announced that the Fianna Fail would repudiate his payments to England under the land annuities arrangement. "We are determined that this .money, equal to 4/10 in the £1 in Irish revenue, ■will not leave the country -when we Jiavo the majority. We believe that it is ours as a right and we mean to stick to it." He added that he would not make such a statement without excellent local advice. Tho sum of £2,000,000 would provide derating- for farmers.
