COLLAPSED AND DIED.

ELDERLY BIRKDALE RESIDENT. Suddenly collapsing as lie walked out of the Ferry Building at. 5.45 last evening, Mr. Charles Henry Mowbray, aged 72, single, of Birkclale, died, on liis way to the Auckland Hospital. Mr. Mowbray, who was walking towards Queen Street, was seen to stagger and fall. Passers-by . lifted, him to° a seat, and the wharf police and a doctor were called. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance, but on arrival he was dead.
