Sleepless nights may* be -averted by one or other of the following simple remedies. Hot milk—'which, "however, g'hould not- be boiled—if taken the "last thing at night, will be found to induce sleep very readily. An onion, either raw in elicee or well-boiled, is most efficacious. The disagreeable taste may be taken away "' by eating a little sugar after *it or some parsley. A hot bath, taken the last thing before retiring, will also be found beneficial.
