SUDDEN DEATH.

RESIDENT OF DARGAVUXE. EXPIRED AT PARENTS' GATE. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, this day. Vernon Roy Cook, aged 45, dropped dead at the gate of his parents' home this morning. He had been ailing for some days. He left home with the intention of helping in his father's shop, but told his brother he was not feeling well ..and he went home again. He expired on reaching the gate. Mr. CoOk was well known in Auckland, where he was for a number of years employed by Messrs. A. J. Entrican and Company, Limited. He yras a son of Mr. R, A. Cook, Dargaville's oldest and business man. He is survived by his parents and one brother, Mr. Aubrey Cook (Dargaville), and two sisters, Mrs. S. S. v Campbell (Whakatane) and Mrs. F. J. Dargaville.
