FRIGIDAIRE OPENING.
(Published by Arrangement.)
A PLEASANT AFTERNOON. A very pleasant little function took place at the opening of Messrs. John Chambers and Son's new Frigidairc showroom, Frigidaire House, Fort Street, on Friday when a number of ladies' were entertained at an afternoon tea celebrating the opening of the new showroom. The afternoon tea was served in the nicely decorated showroom, and demonstrations of the various beautiful models of the Frigidaire Cabinets were given. The lady visitors were able to see the actual freezing of ice under normal working conditions, the appearance and economy of, Frigidaire; to note the wonderful silence in operation; the various uses and purposes of Frigidaire in the household and the way in which it protects the health of the family. Great interest was taken, too, in the ingenious little device which is offered only by Frigidaire, and which is known as the "Cold Control." Much interest was shown in the method of freezing icein various colours if desired, and altogether a most entertaining and instructive afternoon was spent by those present.
