WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.
McCORMICK—LINDSAY. The marriage took place recently at St. Benedict's Church of Gladys Isabelle, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. Lindsay, of Westmere, to Charles Frederick, second son of Mr. and Mrs. McConuick, Grey Lynn. Father Skinner officiated. Entering the church on the arm of her father, the bride wore a fiock of ivory satin and tulle, the uneven tulle skirt being composed of tiny tulle frills with a close fitting satin bodice. The long Brussels net veil, which formed a train, was arranged in a halo fashion far back on the head, and edged with orange blossom. A bouquet of tuber roses and cyclamen was carried. Miss Gwen Lindsay and Miss Joyce Smith attended the bride wearing frocke fashioned alike in primrose and blue georgette relieved with silver lace, the uneven hem dipping to the ankles at the sides. Their hats were of silver lace crowns with tulle brims, a large rose being caught to the underbrini of both hats. Both carried bouquets to tone with their frocks. Enid Shaw acted as flower girl, wearing a frock of ivory satin, ankle length, relieved with silver lace, and small silver hat, and she carried a pink posy. The best man was Mr. A. McCormick and the groomsman Mr. P. Gardner. The reception was held at the Masonic Hall, Belgium Street. Mrs. Lindsay received her tjueets wearing navy crepe de chine and "hat to tone. The bridegroom's mother wore a black frock and hat to tone. In the evening about 150 guests were entertained. CRAW—LAUNDY. A pretty wedding took place in the Otahuhu Presbyterian Church on Wednesday evening between Miss Hazel Isabella Laundy, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Laundy, of Niger Street, Otahuhu, and Mr. William Thomas Craw, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Craw, Great South Road, Otahuhu. The bride entered the church on the arm of her father, wearing a gown of ivory georgette with a corsage of satin beaute, the draped skirt being'finished with rows of tiny frills. A prettily embroidered tulle veil was arranged in a bandeau of orange blossoms and finished with true lovers' knots of silver ribbon. A shower bouquet was carried. Two sisters of the bride were bridesmaids, Misses Beryl and Joyce Laundy, the former wearingorchid pink silk georgette with silver lame- and small posies. A pretty headdress was worn, the bouquet harmonising with her frock. Miss Joyce Laundy wore a frock of turquoise blue silk georgette inlet with silver tissue and finished with circlets of tiny roses. Mr. A. Craw acted as best man, while Mr. G. Craw was groomsman. ; The Rev. A. M. Elliffe conducted the service and Mies E. Moffat officiated at the organ. A. reception was held in the Kingsford Hall, which was tastefully decorated, and there was a large number of guests present. Mrs. Laundy, mother of the bride, wore a froek of sapphire blue celenese silk with relief of beige georgette and small hat to match. Mrs. Craw, the mother of the bridegroom, wore black with biscuit.
