WAIKATO NOTES.
A dance was held in the Regent Hall at Cambridge in aid of the funds of the Monavale Tennis Club. The hall was artistically decorated with paper streamers and greenery. Those present were: Mesdames Goodwin, Clemow, Giles, Missee Boyce, D. Wallace, J. Clemow, D. Blain, N. Langton, McLarnon, K. Goodwin, 0. Howden, Dallimore, M. Wratten, G. Hay, M. Attwood, West, D. Jones, B. Stead, A. Hamerton, Griffin, Foster, M. Wrightson, G. Atkinson S. Stead, Short, Gorrie, Gledow, B. Sands, Campbell, Searle, Kilmore, E. Burns, Hardy, Gibbons, R. Care, M. Tucker, Osmond, Hunter, M. Frost, and T. Davis. On Tuesday night the reading and dramatic circle met at the Lyceum Club, when two plays were read. In the first one, "Barbara's Wedding," the parts were taken by Mrs. Campbell, Mrs. F. Bullock, Mrs. J. Prenton, Misses J. Welsh, L. Nicholk, and Eastwood. The concluding play, "The Old Lady Shows Her Medals," was read by Mrs. Staples, Mrs. J. Prenton, Mrs. E. G. Johnson, Mrs. F. Bullock, Miss M. Hodgson, >liss G. Wyatt. Others present were: Mesdames Smales, H. L. Luxford, D. Andrews, Misses Madeley, Edmiston (Auckland), Campbell, Wallmitt, Seal, Blomfield, Hall, F. Jolly, Turner, Wright, Andrews, eon, Misses R. The annual High School reunion dance wae held on Monday night in the assembly hall at the Hamilton High School. Mr. and Mrs. Eben.
