Large Orders For British Coal Expected. SEQUEL TO THOMAS'- VISIT. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, September 26. The Minister in Charge of Unemployment, Mr. J. H. Thomas, yesterday received at the Treasury about a dozen representative coalowners, with whom he wished to discuss the question of selling British coal in Canada. The meeting was a sequel to his recent visit to Canada, when he learned that large contracts for British coal could be obtained if the price was suitable. .Among those present at the interview were Mr. Evan Williams, president of the Coalowners' Association, and Mr. Lee, the secretary of the association.
