BISHOP SELWYN'S LAST SERVICE.

Mr. John A. Beale says lie thinks Bishop Selwyn's last service was at St. Paul's Church not St. Matthew's. He is right. It was held in St. Paul's Church—the first St. Paul's at the top of Shortland Street—on October 20 1868. «The account of it and of the great bishop's departure from Auckland is given on page 19 of "Sketches of the History of the Diocese of Auckland," written by me.' JOHN" HASELDEN.
