The proposal to build a town hall to contain municipal offices, the library, the meeting rooms and a theatre with a seating capacity for approximately 1000 people was advanced at a meeting of the Te Aroha Borough Council on Wednesday evening, when is was resolved to engage an architect to prepare plans specifications, and an estimate of the cost of a building on the lines indicated.
