SOUTH ISLAND MOTOR UNION.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, tliis day. The annual meeting of the South Island Motor Union was held this morning, Mi. H. C. Harlcy presiding. The union approved of the new type of railway whistle recently tested. The election of ofiicers resulted: — President, Mr. A, E. Ansell, M.P.; vicepresidents, Messrs. H. C. Harley and J. L. Passmore.
