ELDERLY WOMAN HURT.
I STRUCK BY MOTOR CAR. I . QUEEN STREET MISHAP. Stepping from the tram safety zone fn front of the Union Bank in Queen Street at one o'clock this afternoon, Mrs. Margaret Burnett, an euleily woman who resides at Inyeiness. Wellington Street, was knocked down by a light motor car which skidded on the wet macadam surface.' Face downwards, Mrs. Burnett was carried along an front of a wheel. Her screams at - tracted considerable attention at the busj intersection, and a man rushed forward and extricated her, suffering considerably from shock. ' ■ She was taken to the hospital by the St. John Ambulance, and her condition is not serious.
