CHICAGO'S NEW TOWER. SOARS 1022 FEET HIGH. Chicago's newest thoroughfare, Randolph Boulevard, to extend from Michigan Avenue east to the lake, is to have as its initial improvement the world's tallest structure, the gold tip of which will nip the clouds at a point thirty-eight feet higher than the top of the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris. The balance of the space on the second and third floors, 104,000 square feet, will be devoted to exhibition purposes. The 23rd and 24th floors will contain 80,000 square feet devoted to a club for the convenience and service of patrons of the building, and, in addition, a grill and restaurant. The club will have a swimming tank, Turkish baths, gymnasium and forty-eight hotel rooms, each with bath, for use of building tenants or their out-of-town guests.
