The foursome riiatch resulted in a -win for Miss Cox and Mrs. Zfihara, with a score of 105—28—'77. Other scores were: Mrs. Halford and Miss M. Peet, 116 —32—84 ;, Mrs. Sutton and Miss Clark, 122—34—88; Mrs. Cox and Mrs. Darrach, 123 —33—90; Mrs. Cook and Miss P. Peet, 125—35—90. Following is the result of the match played between teams representing the Friday and Saturday players respectively, won by the Friday team by seven games to three: Miss Bygate lost to Miss Young, 5 and 3; Miss Wynyard beat Mrs. Sutton, 1 up; Miss Griffin beat Mrs. Gilmore, 4 and 3; Miss Darrach lost to Mrs. McCarthy, 4 and 2; Miss Berry lost to Miss P. Peet, 5 and 4; Miss Smith and Mrs. Young, all square; Miss Tyler-Davies lost to Miss Cox, 2 down; Miss Fearnley and Mrs. Cox, all square; Miss McGee beat Miss Jones, 3 and 2; Miss Hickman lost to Mrs. Preston, 6 and 5; Miss Longdill lost to Miss M. Peet, 5 and 4; Miss Knott lost to Mrs. Fearnley, 5 and 4.
