BOXING.
HAY AND MACDONALD. Booking for the Artie Hay-Lachie Macdonald fight, to be staged by the Northern Boxing Association in the Town Hall next Monday evening, opened this morning, ana indications are that there will be a bi D attendance. The match "will be for the middle-weight title of New Zealand, which is at present vacant. Macdonald is .training hard at Auckland, while reports from Hastings suggest that Hay will be in the pink of condition when he arrives here at the end of the week.
