KILLED BY TAXI.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Wednesday. Fatal injuries were sustained by Mr. John Emerson Gilby, aged about 83, as a result of being knocked down by a taxicab this evening. He died within a few minutes. The taxi was driven by Mr. J. B. Fitzlierbert. The night was somewhat misty and visibility was poor.
