BIRKDALE CLUB,
At the annual general meeting the report and balance-sheet, which were adopted, showed the club still holding an unbeaten record in match play, with finances in a healthy condition. 1 The following officers for the npw season were elected :—Patron, Mr. J. P. MzPhail; president, Mr. W. S. Garrett; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. A. Iladfield, ,T. C. Alexander, E. J. Osjborne, W. B. Darlow, L. Casrletou, D. Norton, sen., J. 11. McGovern, H. Schorman; club captain and sole selector, Mr. It. L. Molier; executive committee, Mrs. W. Casey, Mrs. C. Schorman, Miss D. Casey, Messrs. C. Schorman, R. L. Molier, jun., P. McGovern, R. L. Molier, sen.; lion, auditor. Mr. J. C. Alexander; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. F. Schorman.
