WAIKATO WINTER SHOW.
CHALLENGE CUP DONATED. The executive of the Waic The executive committee of the Waikato Winter Show Association met at Hamilton yesterday, the president, Mr. A. K. Alexander, presiding. The president of the South Canterbury Farmers' Union, Mr. Colin Mclntosh, forwarded a silver challenge cup, donated by Canterbury and West Coast farmers to the association. The secretary, Mr. W. H. Paul, said that during the past 14 years the association had paid off- £15,000 on buildings and land. Cash in hand at present amounted to £3500. A proposal to reconatruct part of the show buildings would , be considered at the annual meeting.
