Take notice that actions have been commenced against each of you in the above Court by the Body Corporate known as the Chairman. Councillors and Inhabitants of the County of Wnitematu In the above-mentioned plaints lor recovery of rates as under :— 1. Against you, Edmund Hamilton I'urdic, for the recovery of the Hum oi! Fifteen Pounds Five Shillings for rates overdue, in respect of all that parcel ol land containing 20 acres, more or loss, being part Lor. 7 on a plan deposited in the Land Transfer Office at Auckland under Number 00(50, which said parcel of land is portion Blocks situated in Kumeu Survey District called Ihumata Number and Ihumala Number 8, and is the whole (if the innrt comprised and described in Certificate of Title Volume 802, Folio 290, Auckland Registry, the said parcel of hind being in the Kumeu Riding of the said County. 2. Against you, Allan Fowlds. for Hie recovery of the sum of Thirteen Pounds Fourteen Shillings and Three Pence for rates overdue in respect of all that parcel of land containing i acre, more or less, being portion of Section 2, Block XIII., Hetann Hain- ! let, and the whole of the land comI prised and described in Certificate, of ! Title Volume 275, Folio 43, Auckland Registry, the said parcel of land being situated in the Titirangi Riding ol' the said County. 3. Against you, lan Roy Thomson, for the recovery of the sum of Seven Pounds Four Shillings and Six Pence for rates overdue in respect of .'ill that parcel of laud containing 1 rood, more or less, being Lot No. 49 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland under Number 13925. and being portion of Allotment 288 of the Parish of Waikomi.ti, and the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title Volume 393. Folio 233, Auckland Registry, the said Parcel of land being situated in the, Titirangi Hiding of the said County. 4. Against you, "The Owner." for the recovery of the sum of Three Pounds Seventeen Shilling and One Penny for rates overdue in respect of all that parcel of land containing 10 acres. 2 roods, more or less, being part of Lot S2 (Land Claim) situated in the Parish of Okura and County of Eden, as described in Crown Grant registered in Deeds Registry Office n. Auckland under Number 27118, and being the balance of the land entered in Deeds Index Volume 28, Folio 610, Auckland Registry, the said parcel of land being situated in the Pukeatua Riding of the said County. 5. Against you, Charles 'Wedmareh, for the recovery of the sum of Sixty-eight Pounds Nineteen Shillings and Ten Pence for rates overdue in respect of all that piece or parcel of land containing 40 acres, more or less, being the eastern portion of Allotment 40 of the Parish of Pukeatua contained in Deeds Index Volume 14A, Folio 272, Auckland Registry, and also nil that piece or parcel of land containing 31 acres, more or less, being western portion of said Allotment 40 contained in Deeds Index aforesaid Volume 17A, Folio 748, and also all that piece or parcel of land containing 27 acres, more or less, being parts of Allotments 41 and 42 of the said Parish contained in the Deeds Index aforesaid Volume 14A, Folio 12, and also all that piece or parcel of land containing 9 acres, more or less, being south portion of Allotment H3 of .the said Parish entered in Deeds Index Volume 15A, Folio 339, and also ail that piece or parcel of land containing <52 acres 2 roods 9 perches, being part of Allotment 42 aforesaid entered in Deeds Index 16A. 716, also all that piece or parcel of land containing I acre and IS perches, more or less, being part said Allotment 42 in 20A. 759, the said pieces or parcels of land being situated in the Pukeatna Riding of the said County. And an order has been made in each of the above actions that publication of notice of such action in the "Auckland Star" and "New Zealand Herald" newspapers shall be deemed to be service of a summons therein upon you respectively. The summons in each of the above actions will be heard in the Magistrate's Court at Auckland on MONDAY, the 21st day of October, 1929, at 10.30 o'clock in the forenoon, in the Upstairs Court, and in default of you or any of you respectively filing notice of intention to defend such claims respectively in the Court Office at Auckland on or before the 14th day of October, 1929, Judgment may be Riven against each of you respectively without your being heard. •T.
