WELLINGTON UNION'S COMPLAINT. OMISSION OF M. NICHOLLS. . (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The Wellington Rugby Union to-night criticised the omission from the Nortli Island team of Mark Nicliolls. It was stated that Nicholls was the*hero of the fourth Test in South Africa and was j playing as well as ever. The sole selector at Wellington, Mr. J. Millard, said that in the past three years he had never once been asked his opinion by the New Zealand selectors of Wellington players. The chairman, Mr. J. Prendeville, said he thought there should be a periodical change in the New Zealand selectors. The same ones tended to become fixed in their ideas, iComplaint was also made that the New Zealand selectors had never once seen thy Wellington players in action on the Wellington ground.
