THE PASTEUR INSTITUTE AND INFLUENZA. The papers have been recently publishing: letters on Cinnamon as a remedy and preventive Jor influenza. The public appeared unanimous in opinion about the virtues of Cinnamon. One correspondent referred to the laboratory tests conducted at the Pasteur Institute, when test tubes of germs were submitted to brilliant sun-, shine and concentrated Cinnamon. i The moment the germs came into contact with the aroma of concenrated Cinnamon they were stupifled and hilled. The I same happened when submitted to brilliant sunshine—but much more slowly.
