KEEN COMPETITION.

A big crowd saw keen competition at the seventh annual National Jersey Show, and sale at Claudelands to-day by Wright, Stephenson and Company, buyers being present from all over the North Island. The offering comprised 03 sound Jersey bulls, two-year and over, and ISO' yearling bulls. The grand championship of the show was awarded to Almadale Golden Ruler, belonging to Mr. W. H. Miers, of Eototuna, and reserve champion to Mr. C. G. C. Dormer's Waipiko Conqueror. Other awards were:— Two-year-olds. — Dormer's Waipiko Conqueror 1, Griffiths Bros.' Kiraberley Gay Lad 2, Banks and Sons' Woodstock Somers .'i. Yearling Bull. — H. Sahvay's Lord Chancellor 1, H. Sahvay's Huia Broth Nobility 2, J. S. James' Silverley's Volunteer .'5.
