Thus our London correspondent under date August 23:— Mr. H. E. Stephens, the representative in Europe of the New Zealand Fruit Board, in conversation this week, said that the last sales in the North had brought very good results. In Glasgow and _ Liverpool very good prices were obtained—mostly from 16/ to 20/ a case. I It is anticipated that 'the average in the west coast ports will be the highest for this season's trade.
