BROKEN WINDOWS.
MAN CUTS HIS HAND
"I plead not guilty to committing mischief, as the woman owed me some monev," was Andrew O'Neill's answer to a charge of mischief by wilfully damaging four panes of glass valued at £1, brought against him at the Police Court to-day. The police said O'Neill went around to the rear of a house and deliberately broke the windows. In doing so he badly cut his hand. O'Neill, a labourer, aged 52, was fined £5 and ordered to make good the damage done.
