BLUEJACKETS 7 FAREWELL
A farewell smoke concert was held in the social hall of the Working Men's CluD last evening, the occasion being the approaching departure of several of toe ratings from the New Zealand station, « the H.M.s. Dunedin. Sorts of the m<* from the Imperial Xary hove served tne full time hero, while others who signal on in New Zealand, leawe for Engiana to complete their training. The tunity was taken to invite,civilian fneno? who had extended hospiteS-ty to the nicn during their sojourn in A-iiekland, , very pleasant evening was spent. 3lusm» items were rendered by bhe members <» the crew and visitors to t&ie function, ano altogether a real "Jack Tjnr" send-off participated in by about 200 people. 1* men, who are leaving, claange over u<9 the Dunedin to the "Dksnede to-daj*.
