JUDGE AWARDS DAMAGES. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. Mr. Justice Ostler to-day delivered reserved judgment in a case in which Jacob Barnett Kravis, farmer, of Rotorua, sued Jesse Tanner, storekeeper, of Panmure, for damages for breach of the covenant of lease of plaintiff's farm. His Honor, since hearing the cause, had inspected the farm, and in consequence had come to the conclusion that plaintiff was entitled to £100 damages for diminution in the value of his land through defendant's failure to do certain top-dressing-. He also awarded £5 for breach of covenant in having failed to repair a boundary fence.
