AUCKLAND CLUB
ELECTION OF OFFICERS
The sixteenth annual general meeting of the Auckland Rowing Club was held in Mr. H deal's rooms last evening, when Mr. Geo. R. Hogan presided over a good attendance of members. The report and balance sheet, as presented, were adopted. The chairman congratulated members upon the splendid record achieved last season, and mentioned several matters of vital interest to the club. Suggestions for the future advancement of the club were received and discussed, and recommendations made to assist the incoming officers to deal with them. ~.,«. The election of officers resulted: President, Mr. Geo. R. Hogan (re-elected) ; commodore. Mr. H. Schmidt (re-elected) ; vice-commodore, Mr. W. S. Pratt; vicepresidents, as last year, with Messrs. Wade. Eliot Davis, C. McCormick; captain, Mr. R. K. Stncey (re-elected) : vice-cap-tain Mr. J. Bvgate; hon. secretary, Mr. M j Barrett (re-elected) ; hon. treasurer, Mr. R. Leabourn (re-elected) ; management executive, Messrs. R. Mahon, A. M. Doull, G. Field. H. Porter, H. H. Duck. A. C Poutts. J. McComish: delegates Auckland Rowing Association, Messrs. R. Mahon. A. Ross. A. C. Coutts: hon. auditors. Messrs. R. Chappell, L. Rose (re-elected) ; hon. solicitor. Professor R. M. Algle. A vote of thanks to the chairman terminated a successful meeting.
