TAURANGA LADIES' CLUB.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) TAURANGA, Monday! The senior championship of the Taiirfinjrn Ladies' Club has now reachfid the final stage. The results are .is follows :— : First round: Mrs. Mayfield beat Mrs. Mnltby, 1 up at the twentieth; Miss M. Sanders bent Mrs. Sanders, 5 and 4; Miss E. Good.yenr beat Mrs. Baigent 3 and 2; Miss F. Goodyear beat Miss Goodyear, 5 and 3. In tin? semi-finals Miss M. Sanders beat Mrs. Mayfleld, 2 and 1, and Miss F. Goodyear bent: Miss E. Goodyear, 2 up. In the final Miss M. Sanders plays Miss F. Goodyear. In the junior championship th& following are the results: —First round: Miss Renshaw beat Mrs. Beckett. 2 and 1; Miss C. Hall beat Miss Baker, 1 up; Miss Hartley beat Miss Turner, 3 and 1; Mrs. Candy heat Miss .T. Hall, 1 up. In th semi-finals Miss Kenshaw beat Miss C. Hall, 4 and 2, and plays the winner of Mrs. Candy and Miss Hartley. The September medal was won by Miss F. Goodyear, with a card of 102—22—80, and the C grade medal by Miss Turner, with a score of 53—24—59.
