CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR.
AUCKLAND UNION MEETS. A new scheme of organisation was decided upon by the Auckland Union of Christian Endeavour at its annual meeting last night, and a committee was appointed to evolve a scheme for the formation of an Auckland federation with district unions. ' Before it is adopted, the scheme will be submitted to all societies in the Auckland provincial district. The retiring president, Mr. G. Densem, presided. Progress made by the Auckland Provincial Union was shown in the report, which recorded an increase of 347 on last . year's membership of 1222. Twenty-one Societies in the Auckland district had not been enrolled, and there were 59 societies affiliated with the Auckland Union, seven of the total number having joined during the past year. Four societies were affiliated at the meeting. The bal-nnce-sheet revealed a satisfactory financial position, with a credit balance of £2 17/6.
