LATE MR. PURCELL.
The remains of the late Mr. P. C. P. Purcell, of Tauranga, were interred at Waikumeto Cemetery. The casket was taken to tho Sacred Heart Church, Ponsonby, covered with the Union Jack of tho Tauranga branch of the Returned Soldiers' Association. The cortege comprised over 50 motor cars. Tho "Dead March" was played as the casket was borne out of the" church, where tho Rev. Father O'Dogherty conducted the service. Tho pall bearers wore the Hon. 0. ,T. Cnrrington, M.L.0., Messrs. C.
