There is in the offices at the Wellington Opera House a. fine collection of Dickens prints. These were the property of the late Mr. Bert Royle, who was a great lover of the noted author. Mr. Royle also possessed a unique collection of military badges which, in the course of an interview some months ago, he stated would probably be left to the local museum. The General Manager of New Zealand Railways, Mr. H. H. Sterling, says there is no intention of unduly prolonging the time occupied in travel by the Auckland-Rotorua express when the new rolling stock for that service is made available.
