The Anglo-German Association was formally inaugurated to-day by a joint meeting of the executives of the British and German branches. Lord Reading is president of the British section. The vice-presidents include Mr. Philip Snowden, Viscount D'Abernon, and Sir lan Hamilton.

Tho association's main object is to promote friendly relations and closer understanding between tin; two countries. The ex-Chancellor, Br. Cuno, 'is president of the German section.
