Walter Hagen's Intended Australian Tour. KIRKWOOD AS PARTNER. (Australian and Jv.Z. Tress Association.) NEW YORK, September 22. The Chicago correspondent of the Associated Press says Walter Ilagcn often has arrived late on the tee for a match, but when he appears on the Australian links this winter it will bo just one year later than he originally intended. Hagen stated in 1928 that he was going to the antipodes, but the plan was abandoned. lie had intended to make the trip three years ago. Now the champion, who is touring America, announces that without fail he will go to Australia after lie has played in the professional championship in California. Kirkwood, who has arranged for the trip, will be Hagen's playing partner. H>: will sail for Hawaii in January, after appearing in a talkie film at Hollywood. He should arrive at Sydney 011 March 1.
