MEXICAN FLOODS.
BANANA CROPS INUNDATED. (United Service.) ' MEXICO CITY, September 22. A crop of 19,000 tons of bananas, Town by or for American companies, is under water, in a vast flooded district which includes the coastlands in the States of Vera Cruz, Chiapas and Canpeche. The Mexican railway has been undermined in many places and there have been numerous mountain slides caused by torrential rain. Schools of sharks have gathered along the coast waiting to feed on drowned cattle from the swelling rivers.
