NINE RACES TO-MORROW.

__ LARGE FIELDS FOR FIRST DAY. THE PROGRAMME REVIEWED. The spring racing season, as far as Auckland is concerned, will be inaugurated to-morrow, when the Avondale Jockey Club will open their spring meeting at. Avondale. The fields are excellent throughout and a capital day's sport should be witnessed if the weather remains fine. Included in the programme is the Avondale Stakes, the first classic event of the season for two-year-olds, and, with a large number of youngsters engaged, the event should prove most interesting. The course is in splendid order and the times should be fast.
