ONEHUNGA POLICE COURT.
George Ross made his appearance at Onehunga recently on a begging petition. This brought him under the care of the police this morning. He pleaded not guilty when charged before Messrs. J. E. Green and F. C. Soar, J.P's., with having insufficient legal zneans of support. George has a long list of previous convictions against him. He pleaded grievous war disabilities, which prevented him from getting work. He will be occupied for the next three months working out the Court's sentence of imprisonment for that term with hard labour in Mount Eden gaol.
