STATE PUBLICITY.

! CHANGE IN CONTROL/ i ■ i PART OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS. HON. P. A. DE LA PERRELLE IX CHARGE. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter). WELLINGTON", this day. Publicity is now ail important part of Governmental work, and a rearrangement of Ministerial responsibilities in this connection has been decided upon. When Cabinet was first constituted, the Hon. W. B. Taverner was given charge of the publicity activities, but subsequent experience has shown that publicity work appertains more to the realm of internal affairs. Accordingly it has been decided to transfer the control of this activity from Mr. Taverner to the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. de la Perrelle, and in future he will be Minister in charge of Publicity and Advertising.
