50 MILES AMATEUR TITLE. Handicaps for the 50 miles Auckland provincial amateur championship cycle road race, to be conducted by the Manukau Club, over the Epsom to Clevedon and back course on Saturday, starting at 2 p.m., have been declared as follow: J. Borland, 7m 40s; G. J. Whitehouse, C. Francis, S. Baird, 8m 40s; G. P. Clark, H. Russell, J. C. Stewart, J. Leather, 10m 40s; C. L. Russell, N. Casey, A. C. Steen, W. Borland, 13m 40s; L. W, Roberts, C. Hansen, A. W. Mackrcll, C. V. Carden, 16m 15s; R. L. Francis, W. Clarke, 23m; L. Hall, late entry, will be handicapped at post. The race will start and finish at the Epsom end of Market Road. The first rider -to arrive back should reach that point at 4.30 p.m. Competitors will assemble at the president's (Mr. H. G. Brewin) residence between 1 and 1.30 p.m.
