THE MOUNT EDEN CLUB. ARRANGEMENTS fob mixed bathing. Members of the Mount Eden. Amateur (gWlmming-Club held their annual general meeting last evening, Mr. C. R. Surman presiding over, a food attendance. • . - 1 In moving the adoption of tha annual report, details of which were published in last evening's issue; the chairman mentioned that the club was stronger than it had ever been before. . As a mark of respect to tho late Mr. T. O. Tyzack, a vice-preeldtent of the club for several years, members stood in silence for tW o» m behaK* of the Etelenavilla Club, the tliairman presented B. de Lore* with d trophy to marlc Ms success in . the Tiyer swim at Helensvllle last season. ± In jnentioning that members of the clpb had not previously accepted trophies for events won at Helensvllle, the chairman said that the •lm of the club was to assist outside clubs Whenever possible. / It was reported that the Mount Eden Council intended to allow mixed bathing at the baths on - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings, and on Sundays, between the hours of 10 a.m. and noon. The baths, it was added, would also be available for diked swimming on club nights, Thursdays. Two ex-members of the committee, Messrs. H. Hales and J. Smith, were made honorary life members of the club. The election of officers resulted as fail-lows:-—Patron, the Mayor of Mount Eden t<Mr. E. H. Potter); vice-patrons, Messrs. D ; C. Fraser. W. A. Foy; hon. treasurer, Mr. H. Cordes; hon. secretary, .Mr. H. Moore; hon. auditor, Mr. F. Flanagan; handicapper, Mr. H. Moore; club,captain; Mr.. B. de Loree; vice-captain, Mr. C.
