The opinion has been expressed that this stat'e of affairs calls for more conside-j ration of the proposal to secure permanent exhibition buildings. The managers have suggested that, in order to economise, it would be worth while considering' the .proposition to .cut out ther additional buildings to house exhibetween sheds on the wharves, and to , erect covered-in passage-ways for pedestrians only. Anticipations , are that' considerable expense would thus be saved. '
